we started in baby rice, so far so good. Carrot tomorrow! The annabel karmel book says to cook it with butter to increase absorption of betacarotene. Does it mean add butter to the boiling water, or when mashing it?

how do I warm the leftovers for DD for the next day? Is it safe to microwave? Or do I put the pot in hot water?
