What age did you leave dc home alone in the evening?

Just that really......have one DS - very sensible and chilled out (horizontal mainly!). He is perfectly capable of following instructions, knows all the stranger danger stuff, obviously knows how to use a phone etc. so at what age did/can you go out for the evening leaving them at home without a babysitter?

About 13 or 14, I think. Usually got back reasonably early - 11ish.

About 13 for a whole evening, 10-12 for an hour or so whilest I went shopping.

11(Y6) - she refuses to come to DD1s classical school concerts. (Due to everyone having to have a turn, they do go on a bit.)

After years if DH and me taking it in turns we said sod it.

9 or 10 for a short time, 12 for anything longer.

But it depends on the child.
