V absorbent nappy to go under wrap - Bamboozle? Little Lamb? Others?

DS has just started to wet very heavily and we can't go far without a leak at the moment. Currently we use Flips with a stay dry insert and a Little Lamb triple bamboo booster, that was fine but no longer enough, so we doubled the booster but still no good.

We have 3 Bamboozles in size 2 and they do the job well, but a bit nervous about attempting to increase my stash to have enough for 3 days (so 2 days, wash, drying will take a while so 3rd day stock needed) as I worked out it would cost somewhere around £120 for 10. I've seen that Little Lamb do bamboo nappies, wondering if these are good and work with the Flip wraps? They're significantly cheaper than the Bamboozles when bought as a pack of 10 at £72. But then, I probably need about 15 anyway...

Any other tips or recommendations welcome!

Preloved would reduce the cost.

Watching with interest. I have DD in the size 1 bamboozles but they're not lasting the night at the moment (she soaks it through between 11 and 5, and since she's only 3 months old I'm worried about how it will go as her bladder grows!). Adding a totsbots super booster on the outside under the wrap is helping a bit but it's still not a perfect solution.

Yes, preloved would massively reduce the cost. I like both TB Bamboozle - they are our nursery nappy, and Little Lambs. You could also try hemp boosters alongside the bamboo ones.

You could give the motherease airflow wraps a go though? They're pretty leak proof and you only need one as you can rinse it in the morning and have it dry and not smelly by evening. I wash it once a week with a nappy load, and alternate sometimes with a woolly soaker (which doesn't work as well).

You could also try other fitteds too - I really like Wee Notions Night Notions - they are super thirsty. Have a look at Lucious Little Somethings too, oh and Green Panda. And if you fancy supporting a WAHM, check out Made by Amber - her fitteds are brilliant.

Wool is ace - I find it more reliable than PUL wraps too, tbh. We use wool near enough fulltime here.

I was thinking preloved, but not on FB (don't want to join either!) and couldn't find anything else, not in size 2.

I'll have a look at the other brands mentioned thanks. Amazingly DS can go 12h at night no problems with the organic night and a stay dry, but during the day he drinks quite a bit of water and wets so easily. I know it's not simply a cloth thing as he's been put in Pampers when out before and still leaked through in 2 hours! I'm going to give the organic night and stay dry combo a go during the day - it's a bit bulky for toddling but we'll see, DH likes the Bamboozles so I thought a fitted would be a good solution. Off to Google, ty! Will look at Motherease wraps too.
