I am sorry that this has probably been done lots but I don't have time to read everything.
Can anyone help? My DS 2.6 takes all her clothes off wherever we are so I feel compelled to train her. She knows when she is going and tells me afterwards. She will quite happily sit on her potty for half an hour but in 2 weeks she has not once done a pooh or pee in it. The carpets are soaking!
I am sure that once she has done it right once, the floodgates will open, so to speak but what am I doing wrong?

That should be DD. Must be hallucinating from all the carpet cleaner!

I had to keep my two in pants so they could experience what "wet" was like. Dd was quick to learn and ds a lot slower but same method used. In pants, potty close by on a towel, lots of reminders and taking them even if they say no - evey 10/15 mins to begin with. I used to ask if they were dry not wet as this made a difference -I don't know why. Lots of praise. Once they are having less misses some may get a little complacent but just keep up the encouragement. I used to get them to help mop up and get clean pants etc. If it gets too much for all concerned (esp mum) postpone. I found it a stressful time

Thanks Pinotmum. It seems to be the minute I turn my back, she does it on the floor. I am being a bit cheeky by asking my DS 4.6 to keep an eye on her when this happens .
