I'm need to sort out a small bedroom for my dd (7) and new baby to share, the room will need bed for dd, clothes/toy storage and a cot in!

It's a small room only 10x7 foot and I have been looking at a low cabin bed with draws and space for 2 toy boxes under along with a overhead storage headboard thing that has cupboard, shelves and built in you chest. So hopefully this will sort out most the toy storage, just struggling to figure out how to fit everything else in and still leave playing room or dd?

Anyone have any great ideas, just don't want to rush out and buy wardrobes etc to find that it's just to much for the room

sorry! If they're going to be sharing longer term, would it make more sense to get bunk beds, and then separate storage? (And just squeeze in for the time being?). If it's a temporary measure, how about a higher cabin bed with play space/desk underneath? One of those would last your dd years and might make it feel like she has a bit of her own space.
