Just discovered that my 14 year old son has a second facebook account.

Recently, we've noticed that if we mention that he has left his (old) facebook page open, then he hurriedly goes and closes it down. Sometimes I don't tell him, and have a good sneak Blush but have never found anything untoward (football league results, funny photos etc).

I don't really know why I put his name in the search box, but did and found his second account. On opening it, I could see a lot of his school friends, but not his timeline. Consequently, i don't know what's on it. I need him to leave this page open accidently...Wink

There comes a time when you realise it's all up to them.

But I wouldn't deliberately snoop any more than I'd read a diary.

Or at least I hope I wouldn't

He proberly set up a new one as he wanted a fresh better one, if he made his account at say 11, it will proberly be craped and messy

I would say just leave him to it, there comes a time to let go and stop snoping

My teens don't have FB (as far as I know), but they have various other things as long as they are happy and I see no changes in behaviour I am not going to attempt to snoop.

DD2 would explode and DD1 would just quietly hide things better.

That's why if you want a secret Facebook account it's better to not use your real name.
