When did your DS give up his morning nap?

DD stopped hers at about 20 months, but DS1 stopped his at 15 months or thereabouts. DS2 (12m) currently has two short naps and I'm wondering whether to try and drop the morning one to extend the lunchtime one (and make it easier to get him down for it). 12m seems very young to me to give it up, though.

Mine went from 2 naps to 1 nap at 10 months but this 1 nap was in the morning (11 till 1 ish) then no more naps at all during the day. At 14 ish months the nap changed to be straight after lunch. X

My DD was somewhere between 13 and 14 months. There was an awkward stage where she was tired in the morning, but if she slept then the afternoon was a no go so we pushed it back first to 11ish with an early bedtime, then gradually to after lunch. She is 17 months now and has a long nap after lunch.

Both my DC dropped their morning nap at around 12 months. It was a gradual process of the morning nap getting later and longer until it moved to after lunch and became the only nap of the day.

My DS dropped his morning nap at around 10 / 11 months and moved to having just one nap in the afternoon around 1pm for roughly 3 hours and now at 16 months is down to 2 hours. To be honest I think he dropped his morning nap so early because I went back to work (albeit part time) and he was too stimulated and excited at nursery in the morning to sleep until after lunch when my mum picks him up. That said he is also a late riser so when he initially dropped his morning nap he was sleeping until between 8 and 9 in the morning. He now wakes at 7:30.

DS has only just dropped it (so 17.5mo). He only ever had one nap at nursery (3 days/week) and I think he was tired for his morning nap at home out of habit/routine rather than necessity!

Mine went from two to one nap at 14 months.
