Anyone else taking the plunge?

DD2 is 2.5 and started today by asking to go to the toilet... a good sign, I'd say!
She is certainly ready for it, and we've had a few wees and poos on the potty at random times before, so fingers crossed!

Come and share your puddles with me. Grin

Us too! DS is 2.4 and possibly too young but we are giving it a go anyway. We've had a few wees and a poo on the potty/toilet over the last few days, and some puddles on the floor, but I've always had to ask him if he needs to go. He hasn't volunteered himself yet so I'll give it another week to see if he starts to announce he needs to go before I give up. He seems excited and quite up for it though! Good luck!

I'm planning on starting after easter monday in two weeks time - we have visitors the next two weekends so will wait until they're all gone . I have 2.5 yo b/g twins and think dd is ready but pretty sure DS isn't - will give it a go, maybe he'll want to copy her!

We're not doing too bad.

Day 1: 3 accidents and 6 successful wees on potty/loo. One poo pre-empted by her. She knows when a poo is imminent but not a wee.

Day 2: 1 accident and the rest (lost count) in the potty/loo. No poo at all. Hmm

Day 3: Same as Day 2, but with the addition of a poo on the potty.

DD1 (5) is loving it. Each time she goes to the loo, she asks her little sister if she wants to come too! It's like a vision of things to come in the pub in 15 years' time!

That sounds great, well done to your DD2!
