Myson is 12 weeks old. He is always hungry he will have a 5oz bottle then 2 hrs later he wants more but he wont drink anyore than 5oz. He suffers with colic but has colief in his bottles for this n it works. He alsosuffers from reflux and has gaviscon in each bottle. Hes onky meant to have it 6 times a day but he wants bottles every 2hrs n if I dont give him the gavjscon he is sick so im in a catch 22. People have recommended to try gjin him a few spoons of baby rice or rusks so he may not be as hungry but they say not to give them solids til they 4mo ths n hes only 3 months. Do u think thi is good idea?? or have you got any suggesions??
Thank u

No experience but I know that some GPs recommend early weaning or different types of milk (comfort, anti reflux etc) for severe cases and based upon the individual child - I'd go and speak to the GP to find out what is best, nutritionally, for your baby. Sorry your DS is struggling a bit with reflux, that must be painful for him. Don't try solids without consulting a GP, you might aggravate the reflux and it will affect his milk intake which is not a good thing at 12 weeks, there won't be the same amount of nutrients in the baby rice etc as there is I'm the milk which he should be relying on for most of the first year.

Yes go and speak to go to a gp.

I think it would be too risky to go against recommendations and wean at 12 weeks. It might create more discomfort and problems for him.
