Teaching 18 month old animal noises

I'm trying to teach my 18 month old animals sounds. I'm looking for something she can watch that teaches it or maybe a specific toy that really helps them to learn this?

The book 'dear zoo' is good :)

Dear zoo. Mine is actually doing all of hers right now

Yep, reading books together and playing and chatting are the best ways really.

Agree re reading. Singing songs with animal noises is another good way. Old Macdonald's Farm and Row Row Your Boat are favourites in our house.

Dear zoo and oh Dear. Also we have a couple of flash card type books which are really useful too.

Talking to her looking at books singing songs and going out and about to see animals will reinforce all his. You don't need a toy or an so or something on youtube/cbeebies

Thank you guys. We have dear zoo it's her favourite book ever. She loves it so she has learned from that the monkey sound, the frog sound and the lions roar. Hehe I was thinking is there maybe a good programme or something we could watch that would teach her the duck sound the cow sound etc.... I will need to buy her oh dear. :-)

We have a local petting farm, we take ds there about 3 times a week, he loves it and it has been a great way to teach him the animal sounds.

Justin Fletcher (Mr Tumble) does an animal sounds appt that u can download free to your phone. My Ds 2 likes it. You can choose between animals he says the animals name and then makes the sound. He does cat dog horse cow pig snake lion duck and sheep!!!
