Help, I can't get a school summer dress to fit my 9 year old daughter!

Hi, my daughter is very tall for her age at 5 foot 1. She is also quite big built and her waist is a 32inch.
Last year she wore an M&S standard age 13. Now it's too small and the biggest they do is an age 13 plus size. The waist is 28.5 in on that one.
Really not sure what to do now. Is there any way of letting them out that isn't obvious? Or are there some makes which go bigger?
Thanks. Smile

This is my daughter. Do you think she looks obese?

She looks so much older than 8!!!

Presumably her waist may thin out once her body matures. I've always had a thick waist - far worse post huge dc Grin

Ha ha! Yes, she is hypermobile, so I guess her fingers are too. Can you tell from this pic?

Thanks everyone. Smile

I think waist pull in when hips stretch out. Pre pubescent we are a bit tube shaped with round tummies.

LIZS- I never noticed that before. Smile

Fluffy- That's interesting. Smile

No, she does not look obese. She looks like a normal sized kid who will stretch out as she grows taller.

My 10 year old very much has that sort of shape at the moment unlike her whippet slim younger and older sisters!

She looks just like my dd at that age. Perfect then and perfect now Grin.
