I keep putting off potty training dts, because of the nightmare we had with ds.

I need a swift kick up the arse to get started, they are 2.6 now and I think they have been ready for a while. Potty training ds was a living hell, in fact its still ongoing 3 years later, and it has made me dread trying to potty train 2 at once, even though I know its not likely to be anything like it was with ds, I just keep putting it off.

where is Mars, think her twins were recently trained! Don't have twins but my ds and dd were both trained at 2.4 within a few days! Just get yourself armed with a load of stickers and portable potties!

I have tried (briefly) but they refuse to sit on a potty when they need a wee (even though they know they need a wee) they will sit on the potty any other time. Because of the problems I've had/having with ds, its like this is my first time at potty training.

Are they boys? Could you try the toilet instead for wees, IME boys seen to prefer standing up and respond well to it?

how about a sticker every time they sit on the potty, if one does it will the other copy?

They are girls, they will copy each other, they dont get too exicet over stickers though, so will have to think of somrthing else

My dds have all gone straight to the toilet, using one of this seats with a step and handles, they seem to like doing what I do rather than using a potty - which they have never seen anyone use! dd3 is 2.1 and started self training a while ago, it is going really well, except for at nursery where they put her on the potty - despite my requests not to !
