I am considering sending my (monolingual) DD to a bilingual school. The school looks excellent, but it is a new school. I have been reading stuff on bilingual schools and read a comment from someone who said that in their view, the bilingual education at the Wix school was poor and their DC would be at a massive disadvantage for normal entrance exams. My DD will be in a grammar school area, and I just wondered how many people were happy with bilingual education and if anyone regretted choosing a bilingual school. Thanks!
