Ohh I bet it's like a show home now! you have such good taste and from the pics I've bp seen on fb! it's lovely.

I've had the halls painted which was stressful enough and I didn't even do it!!

It's good that you've been accepted for the tests, any more information or development can only be a good thing. Let us know how things proceed.

About the boy thing, I would love a boy, but not enough to risk trying again and risk it being a girl. I know i sound ungrateful, but it's just toooo hard. I just worry about the business. What happens to it if we don't have a boy and the girls don't want to carry it on? Just close the gates when we die? It's unthinkable.

V oldest turning into a right little boy tho, she always wants t be outside with her dad, when he goes out the door she wants to be with him. He's now got a horse and cart and she went out with him last weekend and fell asleep on it as they was going along!

Also her chest seems to be a lot better, she's only had one bad episode sine the bad weather, she's nearly always got a cough but no where near as bad as she was last year, so I'm hoping she's growing out of it.

Roll on September, she's starting full time school, scary but liberating thought!! I'm already planning what I'm going to do on my Thursdays off!!

lizandlulu · 29/01/2015 20:41

Oh and yes had a bit of snow earlier, it came down really hard, but not for very long, it's freezing and wet but I don't think we're forecast any more thank god

Choccywoccydodah · 30/01/2015 09:01

Awwww she's a daddy's girl then Smile That's so funny with the horse and cart. I bet it's lovely to have the space to have one and for the girls to get out and run about.
You never know, one of them might want to take over the business. You did right Grin

Glad her chest seems to be getting better, must be a constant worry for you :( esp with her starting school as you won't be there.
Euey starts in September too, We don't find out where til April though. I applied 1st August which was when they opened the applications so it's a long wait!
I think it'll be good for them. Had we still been in Wales, he would have started last sept, how scary is that!! He's so ready though, he gets bored at home.

Lol at showhome. Got a looooooooong way to go yet.
Got to do our bedroom and ensuite, the front lounge hopefully will get done too. Hopefully will get the office done as it's not a big room. Getting new windows this summer (wooden sashes), and hopefully knocking the back wall out of the kitchen to put in doors. Because of that we will lose our downstairs loo at the back of the kitchen, which we are moving anyway, so will need to put the new one in before that's done. It's all logistics in this house and knowing which order to do things lol! We shouldn't have decorated really until the windows were done but we can't put everything off until summer!
We want to get electric gates put in the front too so that maybe a job this side of summer as our landscaper friend has no work at the min but we also need to apply for a dropped kerb (we use it anyway and will continue to use it but a dropped kerb would be easier!)
The kitchen is next year or maybe the end of this year, then we've got 2 more bedrooms to do, the bathroom and then the massive job of the hall, stairs and landing. Then hopefully that's it Grin

It'll be so worth it tho when it's done. From the sound of it you'll have added £££ to the place if you ever moved!

Do they start early in wales then?

It's hard to imagine her st school all day, I'm positive she'll be fine. But just
Little things like getting herself dressed and undresses if she needs too, but as she'll be one of the youngest in the class I do hope the teachers will help. I'm pretty sure they're good like that.

I've applied for violet to go to lulus school wich is where she's at nursery wed-fir afternoons. I only put the one school down, I dot. Know if I've done the right thing or not, but if she doesn't get in at that school, I don't know what I'll do, the other schools are not very good so I don't want her going there and the catchment area school is full of polish.I don't care that I'm being racist, I don't want her growling up and spending al day every day wht them, and me personally don't want to have to deal with them in a school/mum type way. Like parties and the like. No no no.

So fingers crossed she get in on the sibling rule cos lulu will still have two years left there.

Choccywoccydodah · 31/01/2015 08:53

Awww I wondered about the getting dressed thing too. Euey tries but socks he struggles with!
Yes, the go a year earlier where we were in Wales. Our friends there have a son 4 months older and he started last sept! It's not law or anything though, they don't have to go until they're 5.

Totally get the polish thing!! They're everywhere here too!! I phoned the council just before xmas as they have a shop in town which always has pallets stacked really high outside. Sure enough they've been sorted and the path is clear again! Been like that for months, and they did fall over at one point.
Rob's been ill (flu) all week and went into the Dr yesterday afternoon and 3 of them walked in with 2 kids and the adults were all talking very loudly and 2 kids running around. He was trying to talk to the receptionist and couldn't hear her so he turned round to them and said People in here are sick, can you please shut up!! Fair play to him lol!
Our nearest school is full of them so I've not put there, the second nearest is what we've put, which we can still walk to. I've filled in all 6 schools just in case lol!

We got the house cheap in the first place. Not sure if you remember the little bastards put us up £15k after our offer had been accepted? We paid it because we knew it was cheap and desperately wanted the house, but it was very naughty of them and we had to change the mortgage etc as our deposit amount then obvioulsy changed etc etc.
glad we got it though, really want it to be our house for life now :)

I'm here!!!! Can't wait till kids have gone to bed, so nipped on now I between cooking tea, and bath time!
So how are you both???

Choccy, amazing, just brilliant.

I wish, your two are really looking like each other now same cheeky face. They were similar before, but just lately they're real doubles of each other.

Sad day here today, mum had to have her dog put down :(((

Choccywoccydodah · 27/02/2015 21:07

H no liz that's awful :( how is she? Was the dog ill? Awful decision to make :(

Yes I know, amaze balls :) Can't believe it! I just hope I get to the scan with no problems. I'm terrified every time I go to the loo! The last time I caught was October and didn't want to try again as I was so upset, but we had to! I don't want to give up. In October, I was bleeding today and had been spotting for 4 days precious, but I've had nothing.
We've had 3 months off really now, so fingers crossed it helped! I also lost 12lbs so you never know if that has worked too.
Time will just have to tell I supposed :)
The jabs I'm having daily are a doddle, I thought they'd be hard, but the needle is so skinny you don't feel it really.

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 27/02/2015 22:13

That's really good news, it's very hopeful isn't it.

Do you remember I told you sbout my neighbour who got caught, completely out the blue, 16 years sfter being told she couldn't have any more? She's jus had her baby boy. Perfect little thing. It's amazing to think it's happened sfter all this time and every time i pass her place I feel amazed!

Sheba was a Alsatian, she was poorly just before Christmas, but took her to the vets who were brilliant and she had to have her spleen removed, recovered from that and has been well ever since. This morning she was poorly again, just not herself, so she went to the vets again who found a tumour, so they tried to operate on her to remove it, but while she was under they found her liver was riddled with tumours and wouldn't have lived, so they had to decide not to revive her and put her to sleep. It's all abit sudden. She was fine, or seemed to be, yesterday. She was about 12, I can't remember exactly, but a big strong fit dog. Mum and dad wanted to try everything to get her back on her feet, but as she didn't have a spleen, her body couldn't fight it, or something like that. Shame.

Sooooo, I hope to keep checking this thread for good news ;)

Iwish · 01/03/2015 19:36

That's amazing news choc! So happy for you. I will be checking all the time for updates.

Aww no liz that's so sad, hope your mum and dad are ok.

How are you both? Little monsters ok? Mine are ok. Joshua is good, still bloody having pee accidents tho and we potty trained in June!!
Lucy is ok too, she's so sweet but is a right little monkey.

Xx

Choccywoccydodah · 01/03/2015 20:40

Thank Iwish :)
Still good, no spotting etc :) I think I'm 6 weeks today, hospital thinks Tuesday, so we'll see Wink Just hope to see see something Tuesday.

Euey is great. So grown up now it's just silly!! We started overnight potty training 3 weeks ago Tuesday (his decision) as he's done amazing!!
Only the odd accident since, so we're left with a massive box of pampers and pulls ups! He only wore them for 3 nights!

I wouldn't worey about Joshua, Euey I think in the last month or so has only stopped having the odd accident in the day. He'd go weeks with nothing, then 2 or 3 days with accidents. He'd start to wee then realise. Goon!

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 02/03/2015 21:29

Let us know won't you choccy. I shall be keeping my fingers crossed.

Violets still in pull ups for night. I think I missed the window. She didn't want to wear them when she turned two and we potty trainedm but after 3-4 nights on the trot with accidents, I made her. I wonder if I had persevered if she'd be dry by now.

Choccywoccydodah · 03/03/2015 07:54

Will do :)

Don't worry too much about overnight Liz, I only did it as Euey asked, I wasn't fussed otherwise!
He's come down this morning shivering with no pj bottoms on, he's wet the bed and was prob lying in it for a while hence he was cold, wally!

Oh my god that's brilliant!!! Congratulations!!!

Did they have any more information about the injections or anything? Do they have any statistics about women who've come this far using them?

Exciting times!!

Choccywoccydodah · 03/03/2015 18:32

Thank you :)
Only people they've used them on so far and gathered data for is women having ivf and gone to term. This is a new trial for it for recurrent miscarriages. I'm convinced I'm on the drug now!!! But who knows. Next scan 2 weeks, so just hoping everything carries on as it should :)

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 04/03/2015 08:05

You get to find out if you are having the drug or the placebo?

lizandlulu · 04/03/2015 08:06

Do you I ment

Choccywoccydodah · 04/03/2015 08:17

When the trial is completely finished and they've gathered all the data for all the women, we can request to find out. Theoretically that could have been by the middle to the end of next year as they were meant to stop recruiting women in feb, but they haven't got enough women on board yet throughout the country so they just keep it going til they do. It was done in America before on the ivf patients. It's an American drug company trying to come into the UK.

7 weeks today whoop whoop!!!
All good apart from feeling constantly sick!! Didn't sleep well last night as between feeling sick and my tits hurting, it kept waking me up! Also now have a stuffy nose and sore throat from breathing through my mouth overnight.
Meeting a friend in costas for lunch today. Dreading it as the smell of coffee makes me feel ill and I love my coffee normally. I'll stick to the slushies!!
How's yous x

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 10/03/2015 21:36

Is the next scan this week??

Sorry but how can coffee make you feel sick!!! I would die if that happened!! It's my only vice. You probably know from all my Facebook check ins. But spend my life in Costa when I'm not at work!! Let's hope it passes :))))

My little shit has only just gone to sleep. Little bugger kept getting out of bed, needing to tell me things, need a wee, need a drink. Doing my head in!!, had a shit day at work and just want to flop on the sofa.

Choccywoccydodah · 11/03/2015 15:26

Scan next Tuesday. Sat outside costas in the end as was warm and sunny :)
Their fruit slush things are looooooovely!!

Poor you last night! Pain in the arse when they don't settle, so Knackering!! Hope she's better for you tonight x

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 13/03/2015 08:07

I would love to try the fruit things, maybe when it's warmer. I can't sacrifice my coffee just yet!

Are you feeling the same. No improvement?

Are you doing anything nice over the weekend?
