Yeh liz something like that. Because the stomach is immature or something. Apparently it gets better around 6mo abs when you wean that can help too.
She is sick all the time but it's not projectile. Luckily the doc I saw has a 8mo who had reflux so knew all the signs.

I'd be well pissed off if I went away and it was crappy weather like the uk lol.

I think the gaviscon is helping! Just need to get her nights sorted now tho. I've dosed her up with nurofen tonight because she's bloody teething ??

Yep Lucy's outfit is all sorted, Joshua's is sorted too but I on the other hand have feck all because everything I tried on made me look like a fat moose Sad

lizandlulu · 02/05/2014 14:47

when is it? how long have you got to find something?

maybe a nice tunic type top wiith tights? or do you need booby access? do wrap dresses have enough access to flip it out and be put back in with out ruining the dress?

what degrees is it there choccy? sounds lovely. not too hot?

Iwish · 03/05/2014 10:45

The christening is 1st June. Needed a dress for a wedding in 2 weeks so got that yesterday but still couldn't find one for the christening. I've just seen one online so might get it and hope for the best.

I was thinking either wrap dress or one with thin straps so I can just pull it down liz.

What are you doing this bank holiday?

How are you choc?

Ohh yes if youve seen one you like, order it, you can always send it back.

I've been in new look today, there's quite a lot of nice stuff. I've been looking st a dress in there for a few days and went this morning to try it on, it's awful on! Nothing sits right, the neck sits all funny on me. I always manage to make nice clothes look like bags of shit.

We've actually had a BBQ tonight!! Didn't decide till this afternoon and ws pretend by some friends, but was really really good. Could have done with it being just a spot ouch warmer to sit out longer.

Tomorrow were going to sherwood pines with the same friends, then Chris is going racing Monday so I'm going to hit sainsburys and Matalan. I need new clothes. I have wardrobes of clothes but nothing is ever suitable. I have a lot of nice going out tops, things too fancy for everyday. Well, not too fancy but I don't feel comfortable in those sorts of clothes.

What's your plans? Kids behaving?

Iwish · 13/05/2014 20:16

Hi girls

How are you both? Joshua is being quite good the last couple of days. Lucy hasn't been too bad, found a dummy that she likes so I have a bit of peace lol

Iwish · 19/05/2014 19:44

Hi girls!!

How are you both?

Iwish · 26/05/2014 21:30

Tumbleweed....

lizandlulu · 29/05/2014 20:27

It's took me forever to find this thread! I was looking in the wrong department so that didn't help.

Violet has chicken pox :((((( its been going round nursery but she's avoided it for a few weeks so pretty much forgot about it. Went away at the weekend in the caravan, at a site in some woods. Tuesday she had a few spots but thought they ws insect bites as I have a couple and made a mental note to take tea tree oil next time we go, yesterday she had a few more, then this morning she's got even more. I thought if they were insect bites they should have st least started to go down abit now,not grow more!

Pointless trying to get in at docs so took her to boots and got the pharmacy lady to look at her and she said it looked like chicken pox.

She's fine in herself, not poorly at all, just keeps scratching the spots.

How's everyone else?

Good holiday choccy?

lizandlulu · 29/05/2014 20:28

Ohh just realised its the christening Sunday isn't it iwish, are you all ready?

Iwish · 31/05/2014 17:27

Hi liz!

Aww poor Violet! At least it's not bothering her tho. Joshua had them when he was 12/13 months and they didn't bother him at all. Didn't even bother putting calamine on him.

Yep christening is tomorrow. We are all sorted and ready to go. I can't wait Grin I will put some piccies on FB tomorrow if I can.

What have you been up to? Have the kids been good?

lizandlulu · 01/06/2014 08:53

Have a lovely day iwish, hopefully it's nice weather so you can get some lovely family pics.

Apparently it's rain al week from tomorrow.

Yes kids all good, violet isn't poorly at all with these spots. We had one night where she kept waking and was abit unsettled cos she was itchy, but that's it, nothing else.

I've been taking her out as usual as her spots seem t be drying up pretty quick and as far as. I know, once the spots are out she isn't contagious anymore, and she keeps getting her belly out in public, telling anyone who'll listen. Look I've got chicken spots. Sooooo embarrassing!!

Lulus going on a school trip overnight, first time she's ever stayed anywhere that's not family, she is absolutely shitting herself!! I know there will be lots of tears when I drop her off :(((
She's going to York and the school usually only do a dy trip, but this year they decided the kids would ft to see so much more if they stated overnight. I genuinely do think she will love it once she's got over her tears.

I will let you know how she goes.

Iwish · 04/06/2014 20:56

Had a lovely day on sunday. Lucy was so good and looked so cute. Joshua was really good too but ate faaaar too many sweeties.

Pox stop being contagious when all the spots have scabbed over. Yuk, they are awful lol. How is she now?

How did lulu go with her trip?

We are potty training Joshua finally. He's ok with wees but poos on the other hand have been in his underpants every day sigh

Iwish · 15/06/2014 20:23

Hi girls!

Potty training going well here, not had many accidents since my last post.

Hope you are both ok xx

Choccywoccydodah · 27/06/2014 19:15

Hi ladies

Found you!!
Sorry been shit at coming on since hol.

How's potty training Iwish? Don't worry about the poos, Euan also did them in his pants up til a week ago Sunday. We started the bribery (a sweet for a poo in the loo) and it worked! No pant poos since :) fingers crossed it stays like that!

How's the pox Liz? Hope all well your end.

All ok here, Euey is good, started a new nursery Thursday and they've put him straight into the preschool group. He loved it! He was knackered!

I had my 6th mc last weekend so I've been for a follow up appt this afternoon with Prof Brosens who works with Prof Quenby who is on hol.

He was very clear and explained everything. It was the first time things made perfect sense!

Basically my body is either rejecting everything, healthy or not, or not being picky by letting the embryo stick, even if there is something wrong with it, but then letting go.

My body needs a reset as it were so basically this month I'm bolloxed. We are to stop trying for 2 months, and the 2nd month post last mc they are going to do the uterine testing for Nk (natural killer) cells.

He said recurrent mc is more common if your previous pregnancy was a boy too, who knew!

However, due to the fact I am ovulating at the moment and not taking precautions, chances are I may catch again this month. If i do, i do, there's nothing I can do about it now. You never know, I could carry it this time!
If I do have another mc though, I've got to wait I would assume ANOTHER 2 months
Then the results are up to another 4 weeks, so it's going to be a long wait!

If I have high nk cells I have to take steroids, heparin and something else I can't remember. If all is normal, I just bin the steroids and they'll put me on the other 2 things.

He didn't mention cost of the testing at all (I've read it's about £360!) so I'm not sure if it's now free or whether I'll get slapped with a bill! I've not mentioned that to Rob as I want this test!

So basically I'm on hold and a bit gutted :(

OP posts:
Iwish · 15/07/2014 21:31

Hiya! Feel like I've not been on here for months!

How are you getting on choc? Have you had any more tests? How's Euan?

How are you liz? How are the girlies?

Joshua is a little shit. Being naughty all the time. Not listening to me. Hitting Lucy. Could happily strangle him. Sigh.

Xxxx

lizandlulu · 15/07/2014 21:50

Wow shit choccy, sorry that all this has happened to you and I've not been on to offer words of sympathy.

Where abouts are you now in this journey? I wonder why recurrent mc is more possible After a boy, I've never heard that before.

They are def going through the terrible twos. I have loads of withering looks from my mum, ought to control her now while she's young, making rod for own back, so on and so on.

We're going to peppa pig world at the weekend cos its violets birthday on Monday. She's bloody 3!!! How is that possible.

I'm dreading the trip down, we're going Saturday afternoon, staying down there in a jury's inn, never been in one of those before. then peppa pig orld on Sunday. It's forecast rain, typical. It had better be showers.

It's 3.5 hours trip. I will have gone mad by the time we et there. Planning to stop halfway.

What you all been up to?

Choccywoccydodah · 19/07/2014 13:15

Enjoy your trip to PPW Liz!! 3.5 hours? Pah that's nothing ;) that's how far wales was for us lol!
She'll love it I'm sure! Some friends have been recent and absolutely loved it, hopefully you'll get the weather :)

How's potty training going Iwish? Euan went backwards on the poos again. He's become lazy again doing it in his pants. Everytime he does it he says sorry mummy :( but he knows when he needs a poo as this morning he had nothing on and told me he needed a poo so I don't understand why he does it in his pants! He did one right in the middle of the strawberry field on Wednesday too!

So, I'm on cycle day 3 after 6 days of spotting! So I should be having my test in just under 3 weeks. Thankfully I ov'd 3 days later than I thought this month so 6 days after we last Dtd unprotected so thankfully didn't catch.
I hope they find something, Euan loves playing with other kids, and he keeps mentioning a sister??? I don't have a clue where he's got that from. And he keeps telling us shush the baby is sleeping upstairs. Hope that's not the ghost we keep hearing!!!

Happy birthday Violet!!

Due date for the first one today :'(

OP posts:
Iwish · 23/07/2014 20:59

Aaargh I wrote out a post 2 days ago and thought it posted - obviously not!

How was violets birthday liz? Was she very spoilt?

Oh choc it must be so awful for you. I really hope they can give you some answers when you have your next test.
Joshua has had a few poo accidents recently too! It's bloody irritating when I know he knows he needs to go!!

Joshua is being a little shit still. Nursery said today he's been pushing other kids over. I have no idea what to do with him!! He hits and pushes Lucy too.
Lucy is getting so big now. She's 6 1/2 months now, eating all sorts and is the clingyest baby ever!

lizandlulu · 24/07/2014 08:16

Morning, yes peppa pig world was brilliant, at risk of sounding like an old fogey, the attention to detail was amazing!! It was just so well thought out and so well designed. It was mega hot tho. Be being the crap mum that I am hadn't put any cream on the kids as it was really overcast when we left the hotel so I just thought thatll never clear up, which it did then they started to burn. I cadged some cream off an old couple for violet, and lulu had a different top with her so made her put that on. But it was too hot to be comfortable.

She had a normal day for her actual birthday really, with a cake at tea time, peppa pig of course.

God choccy, this ghost stuff sounds very odd, have you asked him where the sister thing has come from? And Who's baby is upstairs sleeping? It's making me all creepy feeling just reading about it!

And keep us posted with the results of the tests and stuff.

Shit I've got to g, got to go and sign my will this morning and kids still fast on, will post back laterz

Choccywoccydodah · 30/07/2014 16:07

Hi girls how are we all?

Was due my test next Monday, however they have slapped me with a bill (we were never told of any cost at our consultation, so assumed they were no longer charging) and we have decided not to have it.
Where does it stop? They said it could be inconclusive, so does that mean they'll want to test me for other things at a cost?? We always said we'd never pay for tests of have ivf etc.

So, I researched last night things I could take and I have bought out Holland and Barrett today!
I'm armed with a Pregnacare conception, Vit B complex with vitamin C slow release, vitamin D3, CoQ10, Baby aspirin (worth a go!), progesterone from my last cycles that people have said use from BFP rather than OV, EPO, and Omega 3, I think that's it!

I'm glad we've had 2 cycles off trying as last month I actually had a proper AF! However I did have 6 days of spotting before hand, then 3 days of af, but for me my mcs always give me light spotty bleeding rather than heavy, very odd!

It's our wedding anniversary 8th September so you never know I may get some good sticky news by then :)

OP posts:
Iwish · 03/08/2014 16:46

Bloody help choc you are armed with everything in the book, no harm in drying tho. Hope you get good news by your anniversary.
And omg I can't believe they want to charge you without telling you how much it was before you booked it!! Cheeky buggers!!
How's Euan?

How are you liz? Glad Violet had a nice time. I have no idea what we will do for Joshua's birthday!

All ok here. Joshua is being a little menace as usual but is getting a little better with Lucy. Lucy has just started sleeping through but thinks 6:20 is morning (it is defo not in this house lol) but she will fall asleep till 7:00 in my bed.
Got a return to work days of 31st October too sob sob.

lizandlulu · 12/08/2014 18:25

Hiya peeps. How's are you both?

Did you have a nice anniversary choccy? Our must be rattling with all those tablets inside you!! Owts worth a try tho. I shall be keeping everything crossed.

Are you planning anything special for Evans birthday tomorrow. Your cake is amazing. You are really talented, I struggle to make fairy cakes!

Bummer about work Iwish! It might be a nice break tho for you. I have prob asked before but is Lucy going to nursery?

It's scary to think violet has her visit to the nursery at school in September. She will be going to her current nursery Monday and Tuesday all day, then we'd thur and fri afternoons at school nursery. My nursery bill will go down from £100 a week to £40! Very handy!!

Iwish · 12/08/2014 20:31

Hi liz!

Haha I can't even do fairy cakes!! I'm totally useless. I could burn salad Grin

Yeh she will be going on a Wednesday with Joshua and they will both be with mil on a Monday and my mum on a Friday. I don't want to go back to work purely because of the travelling but actually do like being at work for a break.

Aww bless Violet, does she have visits before she starts or will she just start strait away? Wierd that she will go to school a full year before Joshua.

lizandlulu · 12/08/2014 20:56

She has a visit on the first day lulu goes back to school, the letter I have says she can have a couple of visits and more info will be given on the first visit. Then she can start probably the week after as the fist visit is on a Wednesday, if she has another visit that week, then start the afternoon sessions the week after.

She will be one of if not THE youngest in her year, she will turn 4 on the 21st July, then start full time school in the September. Whereas lulu is one of the oldest, violet will be one of the youngest.
In lulus class at school there is kids only just turning 8, yet she will be 9 in October
