Help with present for DD

DD1 aged 6 wants a gameboy (probably because her friend has one) for Xmas (I know I am planning ahead). However I am completely unaware of what the best thing to get or even what is available, can anyone offer some advice, don't want to make a bum choice.

dd (nearly 6P) loves her ds (you can play gameboy advance games on it) but it also has two screens (one oftehm a touch screen that you use with ds games) also she loves looking after her puppy (nintendogs game)

6 is young but if thats what she wants
best computer thingy would be a DS lite
my boys have a gameboy but both got a DS for their b/days and love them
at mo in argos 2 ds games for £30
DS lite comes in black/white
DS comes in pink/blue

both are about £100

didnt know you could play gameboy games on DS wow wait till boys wake up tomorrow they will be pleased

nintendo ds (not sure what ds stands for) yep youcan get them in pink. It's only gameboy advance games thatyou can play the cartridge goes in the slot in the front of the base label side down

What is the difference between a DS and DS lite (God I feel like some dotty old bat asking these questions)

the DS had 2 sceens one is touthpad
on DS only one screen lights up
on DS lite both sceens light up
