White film on skin in morning: is this thrush?

Hi all. We've got bamboozle with a bamboo booster and motherease wrap at night, bumgenius elementals daytime, both with fleece liners. LO usually goes ten pm to 8am in his night nappy. Noticed last wee while his skin has a thin white coating in the nappy area which wipes off. His skin had been fine, but yesterday has developed lots of little red bumps over the lower part of his tummy and leg creases.
So - could this be thrush?
No antibiotics here so I'm wondering if I need to further boost his night nappy? Its never leaked but is pretty damp in the am?
Any other top tips? I'm breastfeeding so am fairly worried as I've heard boob thrush makes crowning a baby seem like fun

I'm honestly not sure.

I used cloth nappies on my DCs and never noticed a 'white film'.

But we did get little red bumps on occasion. These normally appeared when the nappy was very wet and had been against the skin for longer than normal (so overnight mostly). I would try boosting with bamboo or hemp and using a fleece liner to keep the skin dry and see if that helps.

Have you tried posting on some of the specialist cloth nappy forums? Cloth Nappy Tree springs to mind but I think there are others.

Having checked on tinternet, it does sound like thrush to me.

Plenty of nappy free time should help.

Thanks robber I'm thinking of boosting with hemp rather than bamboo tonight to see if that helps too. Or maybe I should add hemp rather than switch? hmmmm decisions decisions
