And I'm s**ting myself!
What do they ask, what do I ask.
On the letter it mentions that it may last up to three hours. OMG.

Any advice? Thanks

First of all.....DON'T PANIC!!! I've interviewed on the A to N Course and what we really want to know is (a) you've got good people skills, so that you can talk easily to people - allowances are made for the interview situation! (b)you're sensible, so if there was a situation you would deal with it calmly and ask for help if you needed it. No probs! Good Luck!

Hi jo,

I teach an access course, not nursing, and it may vary from college to college but our interviews are just for:
us both to get a feel for one another
talk about what you have been doing employment or otherwise recently
talk about your last academic experiences, discuss if any other qualifications are needed alongside the access eg gcse maths or english
also the teaching staff will assess committment if possible ( drop out rate at my college high, not just for access)
organise inital assessment if necessary
you to ask any questions/discuss timetable etc

Am sure you will be fine- good luck! The three hours will most probably NOT be intense non-stop questioning
