Small pet to get my 2 year old

I want to get my daughter a small pet for her second birthday. Can anyone recommend any?

Totally go for the robofish. My 2yr DD got 2 for xmas and they are awesome in the bath. She loves them! And zero maintenance! My kind of pets.
