I was filling out a form the other day and it asked my occupation. I ended up putting housewife cos I had to be quick and couldn't think but it's been annoying me ever since

I'm too young and feisty and independent to be a housewife lol.

So what do we call ourselves these days?

Lol thanks, I like it! The form was to witness something for a neighbour and he read it and laughed and I felt a bit silly then!

Although, no matter what you wrote, your neighbour was very rude to laugh. I wouldn't help him again.

If I stayed at home to look after my child (or if DH did), I'd say SAHP.

I thought so too... He's a strange man but they've just sold the house so he won't be there for long

Wouldn't "unemployed" be the obvious answer...

I don't really consider myself unemployed though... Way I see it my husband's wages pay mine too!

Next time I'll just write 'none'. Tis none of their feckin business anyway! Grrrr!
