Slings... Which one worked for you?

I just very reluctantly returned a Boba 3G sling. I loved it for Baby (3 months and too heavy for retro Baby Bjorn that I have, which sits all on your shoulders with no waist support) but I felt like the straps needed to be clipped together at the back, and one buckle seemed to rub under one arm as I walked.

I'm desperate to get a new one but unsure which. The next local sling meet isn't for weeks.

Any suggestions?!

I've used my moby wrap for over a year. It was the only one that didn't hurt my back.
Loved it.

I like the beco Gemini. For me it's better than the ergo and manduca (which I also tried) because you can adapt the width of the base where baby sits (narrower base good for newborns who aren't quite ready to fully spread out their legs). You can also do forward-facing, hip and back carries with it.

If you are small you might need a carrier with petite straps. Can you not cross the straps over at the back?

I used a bondolino. It doesn't have buckles and the straps cross at the back so feels more secure. There's a demo video on you tube to see how it works.

stretchy wrap and a Manduca at that age. Manduca straps cross at teh back so you buckle at teh side for front carry IYSWIM.

I had a Moby then moved onto a Rose & Rebellion.

I had a Sa-be baby wrap, excellent, comfy, cheap, easy to tie. I used it for both children and will be very sad to retire it :(
