Grobags and togs

Hi ladies I need your advice.
We are planning a holiday to Cyprus and ds will be around 6 months old. I'm not sure whether to buy a 2.5 or 1 tog grobag. My gut feeling is that because we will have the aircon on we will need 2.5 tog bag. We never use the bag on its own as she likes it a bit Warmer so we put a small cellular blanket on top as well. Is it wrong to think that 1 tog will be a bit too thin on her. She will be in a travel cot . So it will always be a degree or 2 cooler the closer to the floor you get.

What did you take with you on hols?

1 tog.

1 tog grobag and take a cellular blanket for peace of mind if you're worried.

It depends when you go.

My Dsis lives in Greece and in the middle of summer her DS sleeps in just a nappy. It can be 27-30 degrees there at night.

Slightly out of topic: How do they manage to sleep without an aircon in 27 degrees?!
I lived most of my life on the med and I would have had sleepless nights without an aircon.

Does your recommendation for 1 tog go with use of an air condition ? Wouldn't that be too cold? I normally have my duvet on and put the temp down to 20-21 degrees.

They switch the aircon off in his bedroom before bedtime.

Turn the aircon off and have a 1 tog.

Suppose it depends in the nighttime temp and whether you'd run the a/c or not...

We had a 30oC day yesterday and the bedroom was around 25 last night. My wee one had on a vest, sleep suit and 1 tog bag.

I'd take the 1 tog and a couple of blankets.
