Has anyone had any luck getting a place at either of these German Saturday schools? DD (5) has been on the waiting list since birth, and we get fobbed off every year. Am now being told to give up and try the Hendon one. How on EARTH is one meant to get into these places?! Anyone got any advice?

Hi there, really sorry that I can't help with this but I would love to hear from any parents whose children go to either of the German saturday schools. We are very keen to bring our 2 children up bilingually and have recently got a place at the new bilingual free school in Herne Hill, but are not sure whether to move from Dalston to Herne Hill for the school (we love Dalston!). So, any views on whether it's realistic to expect bilingual children from one German session per week? I am English, my husband is German and we have a 4 year old and 8 month old. Thanks
