Just picked up ds from pre-school and he had a screaming paddy about not wanting to come home . Mortified. Don't you just love them........ NOT!!!

I'm with you! My son greeted me at the end of his first weekend away with cub camp in a similar fashion.. I was so pleased to see him & glad he had enjoyed himself but he wasn't smiling & declared he wanted to live there - he clearly didn't miss me gutted!

Ps - Cub leader thought it was hilarious

My DD used to be so excited to see me when I went to pick her up from nursery. Now, when she spots me she turns her head the other way and pretends I'm not there so she can carry on playing.
