Ideas to stop 6 year old poking things in his leg cast?

There's been the normally things like pencils, but it's not Just sticking stuff in to itch his foot, I've just spent an hour fishing out coins from inside his cast, he's been putting them into the top and trying to get them out the hole in the bottom.

Any advice or ideas to stop this would be appreciated.

Any money you find in his cast is yours?

Grin Thank you, That's the funnest thign i have heard today, i needed cheering up.

I dread to think what the nurse / doctor will find when they cut it open, jelly babies most likely.

Happy to oblige!

Sounds like a sweepstake is in order when it comes off. With the nurse/doctor - he obviously doesn't need any encouragement!

It shouldn't be too much of a surprise for them, he rattles when he walks.

21 nights in and 1 week to go, and it honestly can't come quick enough.
I got a fright yesterday when i thought there were maggots in it, it turned out to be rice where he had scratched using the fork he was eating dinner with.

Freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!

and they only found a couple of 5p’s “hidden” inside it when they cut it open. I was expecting rice, I spent ages one night fishing rice out of the cast.
