still 'lifting' DS (5) for a wee at bedtime

Started doing it when potty training, and have just sort of continued. He never has an accident as a consequence. How do we stop! Any tips/thoughts appreciated.

I would say, just don't do it! I bet he doesn't have an accident. The worst outcome would be wet sheets one night and then you can start lifting him again if that happens.

We were doing it for my Dd and then just forgot one night and she was dry all night.

Just stop. We stopped and now ds wakes up shouting for a wee if he needs one
