Cutting BF to start period...

Hi, I'm hoping to start trying for baby number 2 ASAP but my 10 month old still feeds every couple of hours so I have not yet had a period.

If I drop my feeds in the hope that my periods return is it possible to up my milk supply again afterwards and continue ovulating?!

Yup.
I stopped feeding dd every few hours at around 10 months. Then she turned into a boob obsessed molar growing monster and she was back on every hour.
but the periods stayed.
I don't know about ovulating though, I assume so.

Great thanks. Managed to just do 4/5 feeds the last couple of days but he needs seriously distracting!
I don't like the thought of stopping just so I can get pregnant so hopefully I can just cut back a bit but keep going...
