DS is 7 and Dd is 5 and sometimes, unless they are reading or on a screen, it seems like they are in an ongoing battle.

I know it's perfectly normal but they NEVER play together.

It just seems sad. I has them close in age so that they would play together.....a cunning plan Confused

I've tried praising them when they are kind, punishing them when they are little gits to one another.

Any other ideas?

Tia

mine are same ages. they do play together, but they also spend an awful lot of time arguing and being intolerant of each other. no answers I'm afraid. maybe try to get them playing with different things?

Yes, I fear that my Rose-tinted view of family life is utter cods wallop!

Hopefully they'll get along when they're older ......if they haven't killed each other by then.
