who for everyone else will laugh/gigle/paly with incl his daddy, but for me he crys screams pulls away and won't play with me (he does however love cuddles).

so is it a phase/just him/do I need to get paranoid? he's 5.5 months now.

i went through periods like this with ds around the same age. all is fine now, and i think it is the reverse side of clinginess if that makes sense?

ahy, I'd rather he play me up than other ppl, but just sometime's it would be nice for a giggle/a laugh! lol.

(still glad he's finished with his clingy stage for teh minute. )

i know what you mean. i used to get a bit peeved that i was doing all the dull stuff and everyone else got the fun, but i don't think it was really true even at the time, and it certainly isn't now.

interesting that it was after a period of clinginess too - am sure there is a deep psychological truth here somewhere

perhaps it's that babies are funny little people very prone to phases.

he does, he rolls about and DH gets on the floor and rolls about/talks to him, u know is silly! lol. I try and he never wants to play
