Hi there, Am just about mastering using my fuzzi bunz at home, I have bought a wet bag for out and about but wanted to know how you find using reusables when out and about? I also have bought six reusable wipes but not too sure how to practically use them. Any advice please?
Thanks.
Emma.

Out and about - I take 1 or 2 spare nappies and an emergency disy becasue it lives in teh change bag. if he needs a change I pop the dirty one into a waterproof bag like your one and all goes back into teh change bag. I use disposable wipes while we are out and they too get popped into teh waterproof bag, sometimes they get washed , no probs with doing that yet, they seem indistructable.
re-usable wipes I use at home, I keep a small ice cream tub on teh change table with 1 or 2 cm of tap water in it. and a pile of reusable wipes. to use- dunk in water, squeze, apply to babies bum. then they go into the nappy backet with the nappies. I do have 20 tho! but they are each only tiny about the size of a 5er.

I use them when out and about: you just have to remember to take a couple of old carriers and a flannel (with another carrier to go with it). Never did understand the point of reusable wipes instead of flannels but I guess you could put some in a little tupperware tub or placcy bag couldn't you?

Liners are a must when out and about though because they make it easier to flush poo away. having to take pooey nappies home is not nice. they don't have to be disp liners though - reusbale ones work fine.

Yes, agree with the others - liners are a must but other than that it's easy! I do admit though to mostly using pocket nappies out instead of 2 parts - I have a 12 mth old wriggler - and also use disposable wipes on and off. Not sure why as I always take them home and throw them away there!!!

i take a wet nappy bag which is mede by the fuzzi bunz people and has a bit of micro fibre attatched to put lavender/tee tree on so the pooey ones dont smell so bad (in all honesty ive never noticed a smell) a spare tots bots and a fuzzi incase of leakage onto wrap(hasnt happened so far) wipes wisw i have a zip loc bag with about 5 washable wipes init and a spray filled with camomile water. most changing rooms have a sink though so you just wet your wipes in that. ive been 24/7 nappying now for about a month and she was in reusables on our recent trip down south. 8 hrs in the car and all was fine.

More or less same as others but I use nappy sacks for used nappies which I normally chuck in the bottom of the pram. Sometimes take reusable wipes (cut up microfibre cloths) in a ziplock bag, already wet as I often just change dd in the park or wherever we happen to be so no running water!

Never had any problems - go for it!!
