Ideas for DDs 3rd Birthday Party?

Both birthdays up to yet have been spent in soft play centres. However due to their popularity and me now having a 5mo old (and going regularly for sanity reasons) it would no longer be a treat. My house is being renovated so that's out. Any ideas??

Having been to about 10 third birthdays this year, including my own sons, I definitely think the best one was the smallest. There were only 3 children(and about 8 adults), but they did really cool stuff you couldn't do with lots of children. For example, it was a pirate party, and there was a treasure hunt in the garden for which they were each given a spade. The treasure was marked by crosses, and they had to dig(quite deep) to find it. They loved it!

Any experience of build a bear?

for my dd's 3rd bday we hired a hall and on the invites asked everyone to bring a ride on or scooter. kids had a great time racing up and down!! also set up a small arts & crafts table (print out colour in sheets and sticking stuff) could also print out face masks or do temporary tattoos.

or could hire the hall and hire bouncy castle or an entertainer.

My DS 3rd we had a tea party in the lounge a few friends and a trip to Alton towers on his birthday...

A trip to farm...I know a few round here do parties...

Personally I think for 3/4 small do a big one when they start school

We did hall, bouncy castle and I bought tons of craft stuff and everyone just made loads of things. Was fab! The craft bits were really open ended - paper, glue, stickers, blank cards, shapes, glitter, pens...

The range has fantastic cheap craft supplies - also used Wilkos and pound land

This also kept older children in the family happy and the parents loved it too

I waa going to suggest the same as CheesyBadger- we did church hall, bouncy castle, craft table where they could decorate animal masks and party hats (check out baker ross and yellw moon for these). Add in pass the parcel and musical bumps and you're done!
