Child friendly hotels

Hi fellow parents

I was hoping some of you are able to help me. I am thinking of taking my children away (ages 5 and 2) during Summer Holiday to a UK seaside, and was hoping anyone would pass on their experience of staying in a hotel with children, and where you stayed (ie budget hotel) and was it child friendly (the hotel itself and and the bedrooms)

Any experiences are greatly appreciated

Thanks
Nicola

We go to Eastbourne quite a bit and have found the best independent b&b called the Guesthouse East. The owners are lovely and have kids themselves and there are big family rooms with kitchenettes with small jobs, microwaves, kettles so you can cook simple meals if you want to. Check out their website www.theguesthouseeast.co.uk

It isn't the cheapest option but you won't find somewhere more welcoming and relaxing xx
