Hi everyone my lil one Riah 9 months old has the chicken pox. I'm looking for some opinions I think her spots have became infected.
On her face back head and belly they're about the size of a 50pence and are angry and red and burst. Looks like raw skin.
Been to the doc this morning she said it's normal :s
But everyone who's seen her or pics said it's not.

Aw hugs, sorry no advice as my 1 year old hasn't had it yet, but she's a poorly little soul today too with an ear nose and throat infection, she's never been ill before it's awlful seeing her. AND its her birthday today too poor love.

I say doctors, if in doubt give them a call, say baby and they will be great hopefully and see you ASAP. I rang this morning and we went in 1/2 later glad we did as she's on antibiotics, bless her xx

Hope your little one feels well soon xx

I'd get a second opinion then from a different doctor

My dd had chicken pox and bronchitis at the same time when she was 9 months old. Her spots were also huge and swollen and joined up! She was very poorly for about three days, which I treated with Calpol, ibuprofen and Virasoothe and poxycillin for the spots. She made a remarkably quick recovery after about 4 days, but was still scaby for a couple of weeks.
