Going crazy because of noise baby makes!

Why does she make this noise?? It's like if you close your mouth and groan back in your throat but more high pitched. She even does it when she's on the boob. She started doing it around 4 months and it was constant for a few weeks then she just seemed to stop for a while. But it's back again and driving me crazy! She's 6 months today.

Does she have a sore throat?

No - I don't think it's pain. She's generally a really happy smiley baby. She makes plenty of other noises as well - it's just this one that drives me demented.

They go through phases of making particular noises. I remember both of mine enjoyed producing a particularly irritating and loud high-pitched scream at about 6 months but the novelty wore off, thankfully.

It'll pass.
