Baby all of a sudden bringing up feed

Hi,

Advice please. My LO is 14 weeks old & for the past few days he has been bringing up his milk. Sometimes this is straight away, sometimes an hour or so later. He had never suffered from reflux before so not sure if it is this.
Little worried as he is on the smaller side so don't want him to lose weight / slow down weight gain.

The only difference this week is that He had his 2nd set of injections on Monday. Could that play a factor? If so would a reaction last this long? He has also had a cold which he still is a little sniffly from.

Any advice / reason why would be greatly appreciated. What can I give him to help him?

Could be a reaction to the injections making him a bit under the weather - mine didn't really react so I'm not sure how long you'd expect it to last, not more than a couple of days I wouldn't think.
Is it a lot of milk being brought up? Might be worth a trip to the GP if it carries on to make sure he isn't dehydrated, but I'd just make sure he's getting plenty of fluid - maybe you could give smaller amounts more often to see if it helps him as his tummy won't be so full?

Could also be the snuffles, if he's bunged up and swallowing air when he breathes through his mouth he might be more refluxy

It's probably the cold. Milk is claggy and on top of phlegm and snot may make him more sicky than usual. If you are worried though a quick trip to docs will put your mind at rest ( or see hv and check his weight is okay)

Have you tried clearing his nose before a feed with a nasal aspirator? Taking him into a steamy room might help to clear his nose too. Take him into the bathroom whilst you run a hot shower, obviously not letting him anywhere near the water...

Ah thanks! Did notice less was being brought up yesterday & he is less snotty.
He seems to be getter better so hopefully this will go away. I will take him to be weighed this week so will speak to the health visitor just in case.
