my boys 9 and 10 have just gone on hols with dh parents till sunday, they have gone camping in Wales
i finished work at 12 today and 6pm tomo but i'm free all evening and weekend
just phoned dh to say they set off saftly and already planning on pub tea tonight washed down with a couple of beers

gosh, sounds bliss!

my ds (aged 3) had 2 hours at a gym class on Tuesday and I was excited enough about that!!

we love our children but me time is great

Me time and couple time when you're not "Mum and Dad" is so important isn't it? My mum is having my two at the end of August for a week (she does it every year, bless her) and I can't wait. Just nice to be able to suit yourselves what you do and when you do it. Enjoy!

Wonderful Dmo, hope you and Dh have a lovely time. Remember to do somthing romantic and not tidy out the loft / garage etc

Watch out, some sanctimonious (sp?) git will come along soon and ask us why we had children if we just want rid of them

true dh did mention painting b/room but i dont think so, never get rid of my boys always have them so this is a treat

dh parents have never even babysat for my boys so this is a bolt out of the blue

had two mouthfuls of tea and sud felt very sick had to head home and sat from 8pm with head in a bucket in bed
feel lot better today well i'm at work
knew something would happen as i have no children

feeling lots better now
been out last night, had lots of sex today, had a very long bubble bath and getting ready to go to pub again
