Pocket nappies - Minki and Foofie Bum!!!

I use a combo of prefold (was given free with DD1) with diff TotsBots for night time. Am thinking of ordering some Minki Yoyos for DD1 who is resisting a night time nappy but not yet dry. Any one tried them?
May also be tempted to try some Minkis for DD2 who is 13 lbs so advice on sizing etc welcomed. With the pocket nappies do you change the whole thing every nappy change??
By the way anyone tried Foofie Bums?? They look gorgeous so may have to buy some just for the name.
Thanks in advance.

I'v got minki yoyos and although i love them in the daytime, I wouldn't trust them at night tbh. They do get pretty wet (i use 2 microfibre cloths, folded over in the pocket) and my 18mo is wet after about 2hrs max. However, if you have a bascially dry child who just lacks confidence to lose a night time nappy, they would prob be ok.

Quite pricey though - £12 a throw - and they don't seem to come up on ebay v often.

You do have to change the whole thing each time.

Thanks Sassy, I was thinking of stuffing with microfibre too. To be honest I just wanted something that would feel less like a nappy for her, she is not a huge wetter, in fact she was dry with a lift at one point. They do look groovy for a toddler don't they?
Will splash out for 2 from Twinkle on the Web as am getting a Mooncup in prep for return of AF!!!

They are groovy -but massive! And a funny shape too - dh calls them the codpieces cos there is lots of padding between the legs and nothing at the sides.

I don't care - me and dd love 'em!

you should see what she looks like waddling around in a huge prefold with saggy baggy wrap!!
she is only 26lbs tho so do you reckon the 18 month size might drown her?

No shouldn't do.

dd is tiny - about 22lb I think, and they fit her ok.

I find minki's huge when padded up. Our 3 year old refused them for night nappies even when we bought him the football one.

I bought one for the 8 month old and that is huge too. I have 3 minki huggles too - they are similarly huge.
