9 year old DS party ideas?

DS is easy going and wouldn't mind what he did, his friends on the other hand are somewhat different.
I want to do something that won't embarrass him or been seen as babyish.
What would you do at this age?

Quasar seems popular here.

Or if there's a good film due to be released near the time of his birthday, see that with a couple of mates and head to Pizza Hut afterwards.

Laser quest is popular.

My ds3 was 10 in dec and had a rollerskating party, thta was a big hit and very reasonably priced as well.

Football party? They do them at our local leisure centre.

Ten pin bowling party, or climbing wall party.

My ds just had his 9th birthday and all he wanted was his 2 best friends to sleepover-they made pizzas, played on the wii, watched dvd and stayed up very late for a midnight feast!

Bowling/cinema/quad biking/swimming/pizza/quasar -any combination of those seems to be a typical 9 yr old party. Or choose one friend to take somewhere very special like a theme park.
