Swimming lessons for 2year old

We go swimming every week with DS 2.4 & DS 4 months. DS1 is fiercely independent & stubborn and very confident in the water (we did waterbabies as a baby)

Anyway his confidence is a bit misplaced & he doesn't like us helping him in the water. He was previously wearing armbands and I think it gave him a lot of security. It was actually quite dangerous though as he would prefer to also drown than have us help him in the water!

We have ditched the armbands and he is using a float and will now let DH help him (not me!). I think he would really benefit from some more structured classes.

Does anyone have a similar sounding independent to the extreme child? Any classes people would recommend? I think he did the first couple of waterbabies courses but not sure if that's what we need now.

Any advice appreciated (ps we live in SE London)
