Hello Everybody,
A friend and I are looking to set up a YouTube channel which has educational Nursery Rhymes for young children. I have a lot of experience within Children's Television but not with YouTube.
I wanted to ask you guys how you feel about using YouTube
Specifically:
- Do you worry about the adverts that might come up which your child would see
- Do the adverts annoy you personally?!
- There are three types of ads:
A) see-through floating on the video
B) to the side of the video (above suggestions list)
C) at the beginning of the video (that you can skip/that you can't skip)
Are any of these better/worse in your opinion?
- Would you rather be on a dedicated website (ie www.learnfromnurseryrhymesetc.com) with YouTube videos embedded into the website?
- Do you feel safe using YouTube?
That's it for now, any answers to any of the above would be really really appreciated. I'd love to make a fun, safe, musical channel for kids to learn and enjoy
