It's more just keeping it on offer. They all get it eventually I used to make mine a beaker up aday then just offer it when I remembered. By the summer you'll find she'll want it.

Three month olds - whether bottle or breast fed aren't supposed to have water. Everything they need comes from milk. Water can actually be harmful.

Is she constipated, have you been told to offer water? She.really doesn’t need it at this age.

No need to offer water until solids are established after 6 months - even then

dannydyerismydad · 24/01/2014 16:39

... she may show no interest until warmer weather and she's started dropping milk feeds.

she doesnt need water, just milk

IWantToSCRRREAM · 24/01/2014 16:52

Is there a reason you're giving her water? Bf or ff?

purplemurple1 · 24/01/2014 17:26

I was advised to give water around that age the first few
Times he refused but I kept offering before his milk bottle once a day. When they are that small an oz or so is enough to help with constipationq

ilovepowerhoop · 24/01/2014 17:33

but they dont need water at that age and certainly not just before a milk feed as then they wilk take less milk. Water has no nutritional value for a small baby and too much can be harmful.

Sorry should have said mine was big and missing or delaying an oz once a week or swas ok as he was taking 35 to 40 a day. obv I've no idea of your situation and reasons for the water.
