Baby acne

How long did it take before your baby's went away? DD is 7 weeks and has had it for a week, should I expect the spots to stay for a couple of months or more?

I cleaned DS's face gently with water and cotton wool then a light coat of sudocrem kept it at bay.

My baby had really awful acne at around 7 weeks, her face was completely covered in red spots, it looked terrible and I felt so upset that my girls beautiful, flawless skin had suddenly flared up! I did the same as the previous poster and it cleared up in two or three weeks.

My ds lasted around 6 weeks, not totally cleared until after around 8 weeks from first flare up. We were told to make sure he didn't have any milk on his skin after feeding and used a soft tommee tippee brush to very lightly exfoliate his skin in the bath then used double base cream to moisturise at night

Probably about 3-4 weeks for my dds to clear, was just glad it didn't bother her at all
