is my 21 months old DD is ready for potty training??

as she knows where her wee wee comes out from and if her nappy is full of wee, she let me know. When we take her nappy off ready for bath.. she looks at me seriously and points between her legs then she does a wee wee! she had done that 3 times standing on the bathroom floor. whenever she is upstairs with me i always take her to the loo with me and say wee wee and she points at it.

is she ready?

biglips Ds was like this I used to just put a potty around and if he used it great if not then fine. He decided at 2.2yrs when H was born that nappies were for babies and thats that...fantastic as took all the hassle out of training. He also decided 3mths later that he didnt want a night nappy. Completely dry and accident free. So as I say just try her with a potty around at first and if she seems ready then go the whole hog with knickers etc.

ive got a potty too and she sits in it and i make a wee wee sounds effect (lol!!) to make it all real!!

my daughter is 22 months and is on her 3rd day in knickers!!
She started her self she just kept taking her nappy off and peeing on the floor so i got her the potty and she just sat on it and weed on it and kept going back for more wees.
She stays dry for naps during the day and her night time nappy is a lot less full than it used to be, i often had to wash the bedding daily and she was always soaked.
She doing great, not quite there with poos yet mind you but theres plenty of time,
I thought it would be way too early but she has proved me wrong!
Give it a go
