Did you have any signs a couple of days before etc, did it all come all of a sudden? I'm pregnant with my second but can't remember much about signs of labour tbh!! Thanks x

Mine came all of a sudden (dc1)

Waters went in the morning the day before my due date and things progressed from there.

Good luck with your new arrival x

With dd I woke up during the night with contractions then my water broke before I had even got out of bed. With ds I had had niggles for a few weeks but never really felt it was starting . Then all of a sudden my waters broke . An hour or so later contractions started .

Different with both. With ds1 I got up to go to the toilet at 1am, had the runs (sorry TMI!), got back into bed and my waters broke like a tidal wave. The contractions started instantly, strong and every 3 minutes - none of that early labour business for me! With dd2 I had tons of braxton hicks and grumbling contractions on and off for days. I had a show and the grumblings continued for another 2 days after that. Then I started with proper contractions every 3-4 minutes, again around 1am. My waters didn't break until I was about to push. Worth mentioning that with both dc's I started labour at exactly 39+4, around 1am!
