Storing baby congrats cards

I have a couple of gift bags stuffed with the cards I got when dd was born - any ideas for keeping them? Most scrapbooks look a bit lame - there are some nice photo albums but not sure they will cope with the width of cards...bit dull but an ideas appreciated. XX

I have a box for each child. In it go cards to them, their hospital tags, selection of first photos, first baby grows. They're a bit jumbly but it's the only way I can keep everything together and I know it's all safe. I guess one day I might do something with it all but DCs are still little so I keep adding more 'firsts'.

My mum made a scrapbook of ours which is really nice to flip through now and again, I keep it with the wedding photo album.

I have a box that they all go in - the plan was for one for each child but the DTs have to share as most of their cards were joint! DS1 has his own box. It has hospital tags, first outfits, cards, first birthday cards, christening cards and their christening candles in.

I have DD's in a box, along with her christening cards and first birthday cards. I went for a "first year" approach. I haven't kept any birthday cards since. There's a newspaper from the day she was born, and one of those royal wedding newspaper souvenirs as that was in her first year. Will be doing something similar for next DC.

And from now on, if I ever send new baby cards to twins, I shall do one each! I'd never thought about it that way before.

We have a couple of memory boxes with the year of birth on. Got cards, hospital tag, first christmas card, outfit we brought him home in etc etc

Thanks all - hmmm good points, hadn't thought about hospital tags, belly button clip etc. Thinking of a nice spiral bound note book now to accommodate the width of it all xxx

I made a collage of all the cards onto a board that is hung in her room.

We have a box for each kid. Cards, newspaper of the day they were born, belly button clip, first haircut hair, first shoes etc go in it.
