End of my tether

My youngest is four, September birthday so still at preschool.

I am at the end of my tether with her behaviour. She is so much harder than my other three.

Examples of recent behaviour:

Taking chocolate, sweets, biscuits etc for the kitchen and eating them in her bedroom ( shared with her sister) even when told explicitly not too.

Drawing over the toilet, walls, sofa, bed.... Anywhere but paper!

Squirting toothpaste all over her bedroom carpet ( this mornings delights)

Have tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to work. She will cry, say sorry then go off and do something else.

Her sister is fed up of her messing the bedroom up as then they have to tidy it again.

She is a lovely little girl but seems out of control at the present. I know she is fed up of preschool and had she been born two days earlier she would be in full time school now.

I try my best to keep her occupied but I have to look after the other three as well. I also work full time so have to do housework etc when she is home.

Short of attaching her to an adult at all times I am at a loss what to do.

Anybody got a magic wand???

No wand here I'm afraid, just sympathy. Does sound like she's bored. Would she enjoy age appropriate work books? My mom tried that with one of my brothers who was similar. He really enjoyed it and stopped being as destructive
