Hi all,

I'm really allergic to cats and have just been to a friends who has cats and I didn't know.

I've come home all itchy, eyes watering, nose running and throat itching so I've taken a strong antihistamine called Ucerax that I was prescribed for urticaria (itchy skin) well before I was pregnant.

LO is 11 months and breastfeeding once morning and before bed, then twice in the night.

After I'd taken tablet I thought to check and they say DO NOT take whilst pregnant or breastfeeding as will pass into milk.

Have only taken one and don't intend to take any more as it's made me feel dizzy and worried for LO. So was just wondering if anyone else had taken these whilst feeding and can reassure me their LO was Ok?

Thanks in advance!

LactMed says fine in occasional doses, may cause drowsiness in the baby if used longer term and preferable to use other anti histamines for long term use but one dose shouldn't be a problem.

Great, thanks sandberry that's a weight off my mind. LO is my first so it's easy to worry!

Thanks again!
