how many cloth nappies for a 2 month old?

I've got 20 but I wash every other day, need to be changing every 3 hours so about 5/6 a day at 3mths. 10-15 would prob be enough

every 3 hrs ... HV told me it was okay to just change him at every feed - which is every 4/5 hours unless he got nappy rash and then to change him as soon as he was wet.

DS needed changing about every 3-4 hours at that age because he was pooing after each feed - 16 was more than enough for us. He is now changed every 5-6 hours, and it is fine for us (in wambamboo - but was the same in bamboozles). (5 months now)

I was every other day or so.

10 will be more than enough washing every day, even with the length of time bamboozles take to dry (assuming you are using them )

Ooh I'm lost - are NA and BL the same person?

We go through about 3 a day, plus 1 at night (often just 2 bamboo in the day, and one extra thinner one for the cross over early evening bit when it is too early for bedtime nappy, but needs changing before then iyswim) - extra if there is more poo, but DS doesn't tend to poo all that often.

I did have 16 bamboozles, plus a couple of extras. I now instead have 9 wambamboos, 1 normal tots, and a handful of kissaluvs/terry squares that I use when I haven't been on top of the washing.

We get by with a wash every other day on just the wambams and the one tots, but I am not confident with that (especially when it rains on the nearly dry nappies ), so I like having those extra ones on standby iyswim.

16 was perfect, even more than I needed tbh as I was selling off a couple before I could buy the wambams.

I'm not sure how much help that is, or how much I'm babbling

Sorry Nappyaddict should have clarified - every 3 hours during day at 2 mths but now DD is 5 mths I only use 4 a day (don't do a change at night and every fours hours or so during the day).
