Bumbles nappies have started leaking for 15 mo...

Hi all,

DS has been in bumbles nappies since he was a few weeks old.
But for the past week or so they have suddenly started leaking.

During the day I use the bumbles with the booster that comes with each nappy and during the night I add 2 extra bamboo booster. Night times are fine, but every day nappy almost always leaks.

Also, this mostly seems to be happening at the childminder's ! They do leak at home sometimes too, but not as often as when at CM.... maybe he drinks more water whe he's there....

I've tried adding a bamboo booster during the day and that didn't work. The only thing that worked today was when I tried a night nappy (with 2 extra bamboo boosters) at daytime.... but this is way too bulky during the day... it hampers his movements...

I would really appreciate any recommendations... I'm at my wit's end with all the extra laundry I'm having to do because of the wet clothes ! :(

Just on here searching for Bumbles nappies and saw your post - we are shortly to produce DC3 and have inexplicably lost many of the Bumbles we had for the first two! ;-D

At around that age, both of mine suddenly started producing fewer but much bigger wees which could be a cause of the leaks (it's a good sign - shows they're gradually getting ready for potty training!). For us, the nappies didn't actually leak, though, so I'm a bit useless in terms of practical advice. Have you ever been on the Nappy Lady website? There is a big FAQ which might help.

Could it be user error on the cm part? not putting them on right?

Maybe it is time to start potty training ! I've been constantly emailing the Nappy Lady and she's been very helpful :)

FoofFighter I doubt the cm is making an error.... it was fine all this time. Hopefully I'll crack the mystery soon !!
