Drynites vs nappies

I have a 6 year old boy who is not dry at night. At the moment he going to bed in a nappy. We use Asda size 6+ as they are fairly large. I'm considering getting him drynites pj pants as he seems to old to be wearing a nappy. I know pj pants are a nappy but he can put them on himself. With the normal nappy I have to lie him down and put it on him. The nappies we use are good, they hold all his wee, are cheap, fit ok. Its also good having a normal nappy on him because I can change him in the night if I find he is wet.
What is your experiance of drynites or any other pull up or pj pants?

Thanks

We use drynites for DS who is 6, and they are fine. Better than nappies IMO.

How much can they hold? His nappy is very full in the morning.
